Highlanders Volleyball Club captain, Matthew Msamanyada, bids farewell to the team as he joins UZ Wolves.
During his tenure, Matthew led Highlanders to their first-ever league championship and their first-ever Zone VI Volleyball Club Championship finals.
Unfortunately, financial hardships have forced the team to lose several key players. With the All Africa Games approaching in April in Libya, the team’s dream of representing the country seems to be slipping away due to a lack of sponsorship.
To my Highlanders family, as I move on to new adventures, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the incredible experiences and memories we’ve shared together.
