Tulange Mudenda, a 15-year-old girl from a humble background, discovered her passion for running and has quickly become a sensation.Despite facing financial challenges, Tulange’s natural talent and dedication caught the attention of coaches and sponsors. She started out as a sprinter but was soon groomed for long-distance running, where she’s truly excelling.
Tulange had an incredible 2024, winning numerous races in Zimbabwe and even crossing the border to triumph in Botswana, where she took home a prize of 5,000 pula. Her victories include the Kasambabezi marathon in Binga, the Tanganda marathon in Mutare, and several other events in Bulawayo and Plumtree.
Tulange’s success has not gone unnoticed. She has been taken under the wing of Ephrage from Tinde, who now sponsors her and accompanies her to races. Her school fees are now being paid by NASH Mat North, who recognized her potential and want to support her development.As Tulange continues to break records and win accolades, she remains humble and grounded.
