Tizirayi Edmond Luphahla, a seasoned sports executive, has thrown his hat into the ring, vying for a position on the ZIFA Board.
With a proven track record in managing substantial budgets, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing robust financial controls, Luphahla is the ideal candidate to steer ZIFA towards financial sustainability and stability. His expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and risk management will be invaluable assets to the ZIFA Board.
Luphahla’s impressive educational background, which includes an MSc in Accounting and Finance, an MBA, and a BCom in Accounting, all from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), has equipped him with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the complex world of football administration.
Throughout his career, Luphahla has demonstrated his ability to build high-performing teams and drive sustainable growth through strategic planning and stakeholder management. His experience as a Finance Committee Member for ZIFA, Board Member for the Southern Region Soccer League (SRSL), and Team Manager for various football clubs has given him a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Zimbabwean football.
Luphahla’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and accountability is evident in his participation in the ZIFA Good Governance Workshop and his certification as an IPSAS Certified Trainer and Advisor.
