The event, held Saturday 27 October , brought together budding footballers from the EMganwini community, offering a platform for them to showcase their skills.Organized by the dedicated members of the Mganwini Chapter, the tournament aimed to unearth hidden gems and provide a pathway for promising youngsters to join the Highlanders’ ranks.
Mayibongwe Maseko, a chapter member, shared the vision behind the initiative.”This tournament is about exposing talent from EMganwini to Highlanders,” Maseko explained. “We want to identify and nurture young players who can represent our community and the club in the future.”
The Under-13 teams took to the pitch, displaying impressive skills and determination. Parents, coaches, and spectators cheered on as the youngsters battled it out for top honors.
