*PARAMOUNT UNITED FC NEWS MAGAZINE*https/hog/gor/ zwMonday 7 February 2022 *Tshili Mmeli* mmelitshili1971@gmail.com *Paramount 3-2 Kwekwe United* *Obert Nobert Zinyama scores a hat trick as Paramount United thrushes Kwekwe United* .Ecstatic environment overwhelmed Gokwe Police Grounds yesterday when Paramount handed the Kwekwe outfit their first defeat of the season.The game started off with both teams seeking early goals but it was the visitors who registered the first goal from a Paramount defensive blunder as early as the 20th minute.Paramount United piled more pressure on the visitors and in the 35th minute a Kwekwe defender handled in the box in a goal mouth confusion and Obert Nobert Zinyama sent the keeper the wrong direction from the spot.In the 43rd Shelton Marabanyika picked ball pieces on the right flank and sent a marvelous cross into the box and again Zinyama converted the ball into the net with precision of a surgical doctor to send Paramount supporters into a frenzy.In the second half the visitors came back a more determined team and numerous defensive blunders from the hosts allowed them to level goals in the 63rd minute.The visitors haunted the hosts’ penult area several times but they were kept at bay by the exquisite defensive prowess of Custom Mudhori Kufaigore who resolutely stood guard of his rear area.Just when everyone thought the game had settled for a draw Zinyama ghosted the visitor’s penalty area and scored the hosts’ third goal and final goal.It was a very scintillating and breath taking derby of as many weeks and the hosts played their heart out to bring joy to their resilient and die hard supporters.mmelitshili1971@gmail.com
